Responsibilities
Joy Global Canada, an industry leader in the supply of heavy equipment for Canada’s booming mining industry, offers strong potential for your career growth. We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electric Motor Systems Technician for our Edmonton location.
- Repair of electric motors including the testing, dismantling and assembling all makes and models of electric motors
- Quote electric motor repairs
- Complete relevant repair paperwork
Qualifications
- Journeyman ticket or 3rd/4th year Electric Motor Systems apprenticeship status
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Journeyman
- Experience with electric motor repair, including all aspects of the trade including experience quoting electric motor repairs
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Hold a strong standard for quality and safety
- Have a team oriented approach and thought process
- Drive to achieve personal and organizational goals
- Strong computer skills with direct experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- SAP experience would be an asset
- Able to work shifts when required or assigned
